If your wig is light in color and you desperately want to try rocking black then you have probably considered dying it. Replacing a wig to have more color variety can be costly and having your wig dyed professionally can also be crazy expensive. Before wearing jeans or any garment that you suspect might shed color due to crocking , wash them separately to remove loose dyes. The thought of a full pink wedding dress may not be for everyone, so consider a subtle ombre look.
Polyester threads will dye similarly to the gown itself, whereas nylon is more resistant and will usually result a few shades lighter. Very often the results wind up more charcoal or dark grey. But check that your jeans aren’t something like a 60/40 cotton poly blend, as you may be better off using an all-purpose dye like iDye or Rit if this is the case.
