For men, smart casual usually requires a jacket or blazer teamed with chinos or corduroys. This is worn with a shirt and smart shoes which could be lace-ups or loafers. Ties aren’t necessarily required and jumpers could be worn over the shirt for chillier days. For women, a Morning Dress code isn’t specific but implies something smart and chic. If you’re attending a church wedding, it’s considered good etiquette to keep your shoulders covered. Hats are encouraged for anyone who would like to wear one but not always required unless at the Royal Enclosure at Ascot.
